Julia is done with preschool!

Julia's last day of preschool was today. She is such a big girl. She has had fun and has learned a lot. This is her with some of her friends and her teachers. She loves going to school. I can't believe she is already done with preschool and will be starting kindergarten in September! She has grown up so much. Here is a picture of her starting preschool two years ago, one starting this year and one of her today now that she is finished with preschool.

Jack and Little Ann

We are watching my parent's dog for a week. She is a great dog. If we were guaranteed to get a dog like Annie we would get one but you never know. The kids love having Annie at our house. Jack gets so excited, Annie has been sleeping in his room with him. They both do really well until the morning, they both have decided to wake up before 7:00 am (way too early for me) and Jack decided that he will now start climbing out of his bed at or before 7:00 am so he can play with Annie or try to feed her. So I thought that it was time to start shutting his door tight since he can't open his door yet, and then he would play in his room until I came to get him. WRONG! He just pounds on his door yelling "Mom, I'm ready to get up!" until I go and let him out. Anyway, with that said, Jack loves having Annie at our house.

Julia

I have weird kids, they never just fall asleep wherever they are. They always want to go to bed before they fall asleep (besides inside the car.) However, the other day Julia and I were reading books while Jack was napping and when I told her I was finished reading she got a little mad at me. She hid in her blanket by my feet and about 5 minutes later I realized that she was still hiding and asked if she was still mad at me. I am not sure if she was still mad because she fell asleep hiding from me. It was so cute, even though a few minutes before she was being a stinker. I did have to uncover her face, she completely covered herself.

The Zoo

Jack and I decided to surprise Julia when we picked her up from preschool. We got everything ready for a picnic at zoo and headed out. The kids always have fun at the zoo. I am lucky, Jack and Julia listen to me fairly well (sometimes.) I don't need a stroller nor do I need a leash. They are able to walk on their own and not run off. One nice thing about having a zoo membership is that we don't have to see every animal every time we go. This time we only saw about half of the animals but that was enough. I must be one pregnant, out of shape girl. I got tired way before the kids did, but I think that is always the case.
