Julia's 5th birthday was last Sunday. She had two awesome days of parties. On Saturday, we had a party at my parents' house. She was able to invite two friends and they had a pool party. The kids loved it! Moby and I gave her a slip-n-slide. This is the first time the kids have ever played with one. It was a hit, even with the big kid, Uncle Colton. We also had a pinata. My kids were quick at picking up as much candy as they could. They must have sweet teeth like their Mommy. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Price for having such a fun party.
On Sunday, we woke her up with the "Birthday" song by the Beatles and a special donut breakfast. She was all grins. At church, in primary, they sang a birthday song to her and gave her a little bag of candies. She was so excited about that. She kept telling us about what they do in primary when it is someone's birthday and was so excited that it was her turn. That night we had dinner with Moby's family and a small party. Grandma Moffat made a treasure hunt for Julia to find her presents. She loved it. Julia is truly spoiled and loved. Everyone gave her presents that she loves. Thank you everyone! Julia, Happy Birthday!!!

Fourth of July
On the Fourth of July, the kids and I went to watch the Magna parade with my Grandma Buckley. The kids love Great Buckley. We had a fun time. They loved trying to catch the candy that the people were throwing to them. It was a nice, overcast day. We did get poured on for about 5 minutes but then the rain was gone. The parade runs right in front of Great Buckley's place. So we got preferred parking, which was nice because we didn't get there until the parade was about to start. Later that evening, I set up the kids swimming pool and let them play for awhile, until Moby got home.
We went to fireworks the night before at Granite for South Salt Lake's freedom festival. Their fireworks are always the best. Plus Moby's parents' band played and they are always fun to watch. I don't have pics yet from that night but will post them when I get them from my mom.

Gooseberry Reservoir
This last weekend my parents and brothers took Julia and Jack camping. They were so excited. The kids went down on Thursday, camped and fished. Julia caught her first fish on her own princess fishing pole. She had a ton of fun and got so excited. Whenever she caught a fish she would yell that the fish was going to pull her into the water. Jack just loved to throw rocks in the water. Moby and I met up with them on Friday afternoon. It was so beautiful there. Everything is so green and there are flowers everywhere. It did rain on Friday night but not long enough to stop the boys from fishing. I didn't fish but everyone else did. Overall they caught between 40-50 fish in two days. Julia was the winner of them all, she caught the biggest fish of the trip.

Air Show
I have been meaning to post this but I have been busy. Right now I am supposed to be reading a boring English textbook about reports but that sounds way boring so I will procrastinate that and post this instead!
Last Saturday, Moby, the kids, and I went to Hill Air Force Base to watch the air show. It was fun. The kids and Moby loved it. They loved the planes we could walk to and touch and the ones we could climb in. They loved watching the different planes do different tricks, especially doing loops. They loved eating snow cones. It was a fun day but very long. We walked for hours! We were there around five hours! Don't get me wrong, I did have a fun time but that it way too long to be one your feet when you are six months pregnant and out of shape. But watching the kids and Moby having a great time really made it worth it. We were also able to watch the Thunderbirds do their show. It is amazing to watch six F-16s fly so close to one another and perform those stunts. It is impossible to explain and show in pictures how cool it was. The pictures just don't do it justice. Anyway, it was a fun way to spend a Saturday!

Grandma and Grandpa Price
We love Grandma and Grandpa Price. They do so much stuff for us. They love to have us go camping with them. They love to have us come to their house to play and have barbeques. Sometimes they will come pick us up just to go for a drive through the mountains. They spoil us sooo much! They even bought us a swimming pool to play with when we go to their house. We have the best grandparents ever! We love you Grandma and Grandpa!!! Love, Julia and Jack

Memorial Weekend
On Memorial weekend we went to the cabin with Grandma and Grandpa Moffat. It was a fun weekend. We had lots of food, Moby went on several bike rides on his new road bike, and the kids jumped off of the beds onto mattresses. The jumping was the kids favorite part. Moby really got into playing Risk on the playstation that was up there. I am pretty sure I hate that game! It was nice to have a long weekend and to be together.
