February

We have had an eventful month this month. Julia had a field trip at the Tracy Aviary on one of the days that it was snowing. The kids didn't care, they loved being outside running around and being able to ride on the school bus. Jack and I met her there and walked around with her. It was cold but still fun.

Saturday was another beautiful day. So we went to the zoo. This time Moby was able to come with us. It was a perfect day. The animals were all very active, especially the capuchin monkeys, the cougars, and the snakes. The cougar was trying to eat a plastic zebra painted tube and the snakes were watching Jack and following his fingers. Later that night our ward had a Valentines dance. It was a lot of fun. Jack and Julia love to dance. They both found friends and people to dance with right away. Moby's parents' band played. It was a nice night. Sorry the pics didn't turn out from the dance.

Five!

Our family is growing from four to five. That's right, baby number three will be here around the first part of September. We are all excited, but I think Julia is the most excited. Since we told her, she has been telling anyone who is near her. We feel very blessed, we know how hard it is for some to get pregnant. I have just finished the first trimester, so hopefully I will start feeling better.

Let's go for a Walk

This morning I asked the kids if they wanted to go for a walk. They both started jumping up and down. Then I asked them where they wanted to walk and Jack yelled "outside!" So after teasing them we decided to go to the zoo. Jack has been asking to go for a while but it has been too cold. Today it got to 43 degrees and it was beautiful outside. The kids loved the zoo. I think they ran to almost every animal. Lucky for us we got to see almost all of them, including the elephants. The leopard was pacing the window as usual and the kids ran along with him. After walking around for a while we decided to get hot chocolate. It was yummy with whipped cream on the top. That was the kids favorite part of the drink. It was a fun day outside, we just wished Daddy didn't have to work!

Remodel

Since we moved into our house I have been wanting to remodel the kitchen. After almost 2 1/2 years we have finally done it. The main reason behind it was so I could have a dishwasher, I HATE doing the dishes. I would rather clean the bathroom and the toilet. We are almost finished. All we need to do is put on the base boards, caulk, and decorate (the funnest part.) Moby made the lower cabinet with the counter top. It looks awesome!!! I really like the color of the walls; it is very calming. So here are some pics. Sorry it has taken me so long to put them up Ash.

Chuck E. Cheese's

Today we went to Chuck E. Cheese's with Alesha and Ethan. It was a fun day. The kids loved playing the games and eating pizza. Julia really liked the water gun game and the picture machine. Jack liked the ducky game and the wack-a-croc game. Ethan was mesmerized with the characters on the stage. None of the kids would get very close to the stage, it was too scary. They just liked to watch them from afar. It was a fun day. The kids loved it and are fast asleep right now ;)

New Years Eve

I know this is a little late, but better late than never, right?! On New Year's Eve we had Alesha, Dan and Ethan come over for dinner and a night of Guitar Hero. For dinner I made ham, funeral potatoes, and rolls. I thought it was really yummy. The kids love playing together. Ethan just follows Julia around everywhere and wants to play with her. When she is doing something he doesn't want to do then Ethan will start following Jack around. It was so funny to watch all three dancing when we were playing Guitar Hero. Jack and Ethan eventually started wrestling. Jack thought this was great. When Julia wrestles with him, she usually starts crying. With Ethan he could really show what he is made of. It was a fun night and a great way to bring in the new year, with friends and food.

December 2008

December was a very busy month. Moby and I both finished this last semester of school with all A's. We are trying to remodel our kitchen a little bit. Ashley and Ken came home for Christmas. Laurel and Don came for a weekend. We shopped and shopped. We did so many things with our families. Finally, it was Christmas. I didn't take any photos of Christmas, only video. So you are spared the photos of that. However, we did take pictures of us sledding as Grandpa pulled us around with his fourwheeler. The kids loved that. They thought that was the best thing ever. They keep asking when it is going to snow again so they can go and sled again. Now that December is over, we get to look forward to a new year. School starts again soon for all of us. Have a Happy New Year!
